New home or cottage sites
Opening up the footprint, driveway and room for equipment to work.
Building, adding a driveway or reclaiming an overgrown lot? We clear trees and brush so the excavator can get in.

Clearing a lot is rarely about cutting everything. Most owners want the building area, driveway and septic bed opened up while keeping a screen of good trees along the edges. We walk the property with you, mark what stays and what goes, and work from there.
Trees are felled, or taken down in sections near anything worth protecting. Brush is chipped, and usable logs are hauled off or left for you. Stumps can be ground in the same job, or left for your excavator to pull.
It's one of the bigger jobs we take on, alongside takedowns and stump grinding. For everything else we do, see our tree services near Midland.
Opening up the footprint, driveway and room for equipment to work.
Taking out the few trees in the way without disturbing the rest of the yard.
Opening a path and work area for the excavator or drill rig.
Brush, saplings and dead trees cut back so the space is usable again.
Wooded properties of one hectare (about 2.47 acres) or more fall under the County of Simcoe's Forest Conservation By-law, which regulates clearing forest cover. Cutting to put up a building is generally not restricted when the proper approvals or permits are already in place.
If your property is that size and you're not building yet, check with the county's forestry staff before clearing. We'll tell you what we know when we walk the lot.
Smaller residential lots aren't covered by that by-law. Trees on the municipal road allowance still belong to the municipality, so we keep to your side of the line.
Breaking ground this spring? Get the lot cleared first.
Call (249) 492-2378Planning up front keeps the job fast and keeps the trees you want.
We agree on the area to open up and flag the trees that stay.
Buried lines are marked and we plan where trucks and the chipper will sit.
Trees come down in order, brush goes through the chipper, and logs are sorted.
Stumps are ground or left for the excavator, and the site is left ready for the next trade.
Lot work is priced per job, not at a set rate. The number and size of the trees, how thick the brush is, how much wood and chip has to leave the site, and whether stumps are ground all change the price. Stump grinding, if included, typically runs $150 to $500 per stump.
